The Manuel Rafael Giberga Angulo papers document the political and professional careers of a Cuban American prominent in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Appointed by Richard M. Nixon as vice president of the Agency for Equal Opportunity for Spanish Speaking Americans, Giberga Angulo was also a member of the National Republican Heritage Groups (Nationalities) Council. He acted as general liaison with the Cuban American community for the Nixon administration and was active in enlisting Cuban American support for the Republican Party.
